Mark A. Hicks originally created Art Mends as a personal project to provide art supplies to a local hospital. But had to stop when he became his late wife's cancer caregiver. Now, he is using his artistic abilities to provide cancer patients or any other individual with a serious illness and/or their caregivers a creative break.
